About the track
Salt Lake City businessman Larry H. Miller built the track in Tooele County, west of Salt Lake City, and it opened in April 2006 as Miller Motorsports Park. It hosted World Superbike, AMA Superbike and sports car racing.
It was sold in 2015 and became Utah Motorsports Campus. In 2026 new local owners, PV3 Enterprises, took over the 511-acre site and renamed it West Desert, with plans for $50 million of improvements.
